In fact, in a way, this is a success story for Humanity. If only we could manage to collectively do away with Geopolitical and Regional Conflicts, Economic Exploitation, Waste, and Poverty, the Miracle of the Industrial Age is producing enough VOLUME of food to feed everyone!<\/strong><\/p>

NUTRITIONAL<\/span> INTEGTITY and QUALITY need a lot of improvement!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Today, the food system is based on:<\/p>

a)\u00a0 VOLUME Production Capacity<\/strong><\/em>, and\u00a0
b)\u00a0 Commodity Distribution, Pricing, and Profit<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

This approach is creating, and largely ignoring, many systemic problems:<\/p>

  1. Unsustainable Environmental Damage<\/strong><\/li>
  2. Chemical Contamination –<\/strong> Prevalent use of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides has contaminated our food and water with “forever” chemicals that are often found in high concentrations.\u00a0<\/li>
  3. Diminished Nutritional Integrity<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>
  4. A Global Metabolic Health Crisis – “Ultra-Processing” food technologies<\/strong> are severely diminishing nutritional integrity.<\/li>
  5. Food Waste – As much as 40%<\/strong> of the total Protein, Fibers and other VALUABLE food Biomass is discarded, often increasing environmental damage and Greenhouse gases.\u00a0<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    The Transactional<\/strong> nature of our Food System, with a focus on production capacity<\/strong> and commodity pricing<\/strong> alone, has created an imbalance that has become an existential threat for Humanity. There are at least 2 obvious symptoms:<\/p>

    • Food production accounts for approximately 26% of global greenhouse gas emissions!<\/span><\/span><\/h6><\/li><\/ul>

      Monoculture, neglect of regenerative agricultural practices, and almost a complete neglect of the health of our soil is causing extreme environmental damage, not to mention diminishing Nutritional content<\/strong><\/em> in our food.<\/p>

      • 73% of Americans suffer from conditions such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, & cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, and certain cancers. <\/em><\/span><\/h6>

        Much of this is directly influenced by diet<\/strong><\/em>, according to a recent report by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>
